Two new products, or rather a new product and a revised product have hit the trails this year. I really think an active hunter needs to check these out! They are dramatically different than any hunting specific soft shell out there.
I have NOT had the opportunity to see one of these in person, and I hope to get one to do a review on soon. BUT, from watching the video and reading up, this jacket appears to be pretty darn close to the Sitka 90%. Its a few ounces heavier, but otherwise the two seem to share a similar design intent.

I have had mine for few months now. It has quickly become one of my favorite pieces from Sitka. It is amazing in terms of both warmth and breath-ability, a hard combo to match, for its weight. Adding the 90% Pants give the mid-late season hunter that extra bit of warmth for those cold days.
KUIU vs. Sitka Gear? Well that debate is a fun one, but fans of both should be pretty darn happy with the innovation both of these companies are churning out.
